jameson101
Hello all I dont know if this is in 3D max(well I havent found it) or if anyone has mentioned this before. I have only been doing architectural work for a year now and I somehow always wanted to select my objects by what material was assigned to them. I mean maybe you havent named your objects correctly and it would be easier to select them by what material is assigned to them. Anyway thats my wish
Stephen Thomas
Open your material editor, right click on a material slot and choose 'select by material'. Simple! If the material you need isn't visible, then either use the eyedropper tool or click on new material button and then pick 'scene' to display all materials currently being used in your scene. jameson101
The best material site I have found online so far is Vray-materials.de. If you are using Vray then you are sure to find what you are looking for
