navdeep2502
Dear Friends, I am using 3ds max 2008 version, with the Vray Renders Version "V-ray DEMO 1.50.17". The problem which i am facing is that, whenever i sent a Render on the Manger (Network Render). It renders the file but - The Adaptive Subdivision & Color Threashold Changes it to its default value. Means, If I set a render for a File with ADAPTIVE SUBDIDVION Value as (0)-(3) & Color Threashold value to 0.5, Then If i render that file Locally, it renders fine with the same given values ..... But, If i sent the same file on the Network Render. then it changes the value of the ADAPTIVE SUBDIVISION to (-1) - (2) & Color Threshold to .1 This particular problem started with when i started useing the Max 2008 VERSION. It's a major problem, I have a set of animation to render but i can't since the render with low sampling provide High flickering in the foliage. jameson101
Try and save your Render settings. To do this press F10 and the preset option is right at the bottom. Click the scroll button and save preset. I really doubt this will work its just an idea. I really think its not working because it is a Demo version
kippu
its a demo , settings will reset when you save or it autosaves , i thought theres no DR in demo :|
fossilrecord
like Kippu said, the demo version resets the settings everytime it saves or autobacks. Since Max saves the current version of the file to send through back burner that won't work. the only work around is to turn off autoback and render locally.
