charter
Why not just open it in autocad and save as a DWG? Then audit and purge out the file to get rid of any errors and rubbish. it also helps somtimes to retro save back to Autocad 2000 if the file is giving you a hard time........ works for me! nodar1978
I think the main problem is here, could you check and tell me the right settings for this import window? the drawing is in 0.0 point, and i have already imported fikes like this in max, but i can't do same with this file
charter
The import command box is pretty easy to use. Alot of the settings are also job dependant so will vary as to how the drawing is configured. I generaly find that if the drawing has been adequetly prepared / debugged in Autocad it goes in no problem at all......does the incoming file units and maxs match? as they are set to metres..... just a thought! brightlight
I've had success before by taking the autocad drawing into Archicad and exporting as a 3ds file. If you have archicad that could help.
