craigball
Hi this is my firs attempt at using vray render, I would appreciate any feed back on lighting (GI) and any thing else you think may need work. Also dose any one have any good interior lighting / GI tutorials for vray? As all I have is mental ray ones Thanks Edited July 8, 2008 by craigball

birdman67
Your scene seems a bit dark. You may want to mess around more with the GI or use color mapping and increase the dark multiplier. Also, your IES lights are on fire...either tone them down (50%?) or use a different IES profile. Looks good though....you're getting there! jameson101
Well done on producing such a good image for your first time, it took me ages to get the hang of vray. I agree with birdman67 your lights are overbright. Also your TV doesnt seem right, way to dark for a TV screen. Also whats going on with the outside of the windows, is there a enviroment map, there is light coming through the windows but looks like its dark outside. Your 3rd image looks really good, well done, I know how long depth of field takes. Hope to see more

jameson101
The room is looking a bit dark. I think the best way to help you with the render time is putting up a screenshot of your render settings so we are really see what is going on.
craigball
I have re rendered the images cutting the render time down by 6 and a half hours. To brighten the seen would you suggest more light bounces or….?
jameson101
Looking nice. I would put a Vray plane(light) on the ceiling. make it just off the edges of the ceiling. Play around with the intesity to see whats best. I dont know what other lights are in the scene so I dont really know whats going on. Its looking good though
