ctasker
Hi Has anyone experience in matching aerial photography from google for example over a corresponding Terrain object of the same area. I'm trying to do a Shadow Study and the area covered is quite large approx. 3Km X 2Km. I can't seem to get the aerial photography jpg to stretch over the landscape. Tried altering the tiling at map level but that has a maximum allowed value and tried various settings with the UVW map modifier but can't seem to get the image to fit the terrain in my viewport. I need the image not to distort in it's original aspect ratio. Any suggestions, tips? Cheers

AJLynn
You don't want to stretch. Google Maps have been formatted as orthographic photos - try the Plane map and just make it the right size and drag the gizmo around. Depending on your project, as Strat suggested, you may need to find another source for the images.
Sketchrender
If you have purchased and google earth pro licence , are you not entitled to use the images you get? phil
