SgWRX
i was playing around trying to network render an animation with backburner. i created a FG map on one pc, then froze it and submitted the job through backburner. one of the first things i saw on my backburner server window on the 2nd pc was that it was calculating the FG map. so what's actually happening here? it's not reading the original fg map? Justin Hunt
can the second machine see the FG map? If you watch the server window it will tell you if its loading the FGM, If it cant then it will try to re-create it. Also check that you have frozen the FGM properly, ie both read/write AND Freeze must be on jhv
SgWRX
i think that was it - my 2nd machine couldn't see the FG map. i didn't put that map on the shared drive.
