mibs_studio
Hi everybody . Just upgrade my vray to SP2. But i want to show you same problem when i`m using SP1. Situation A: High seting ---> a lot white spot Situation B: very low seting ---> less white spot, but there is one big spot Situation C: High seting + sub-pixel + clamp output ---> I`ve seen a tutorial that show how to remove this by select the sub-picel + clamp output in colour maping but the result is less white spot but bigger at each one of it. For all these 3 scene, I`m using vray sun+sky and samevray sky i put in GI environment. Nothing fancy at glass mat with reflection glosiness at 1.0. What is i`m facing here? Any suggestion? Pleaseee? WAcky
try turning off reflective and refractive caustics. I find this can eliminate artifacts.

Arnold Grove
Im getting that problem too. But I turned off reflective and refractive caustics abd still have the white spots. They are there when I use the vray sphere light, and with all other lights and settings, even with R&R caustics turned ON the are not present.
