SgWRX
i was trying the technique of rendering an animation 2 or 3 times as large as the needed size in order to down sample it later in hopes that the program which down samples does a better job to smooth out aliasing affects on sharp edges or things like shallow angle parking lot lines, ultimately to be played on standard ntsc. what programs are being used to down-size? i tried combustion but couldn't find any re-sampling quality settings. i'm familiar with Photoshop's various methods. do other compositing programs have the ability to set a quality or method? are animations rendered to individual images and those images resized via a photo editing program and then composited? thanks. Justin Hunt
I use this methode quite a bit, tends to render quicker and ultimaterly results in a very crisp animation. TO down size I either use Premier, after effects or photoshopcs3 which has some very nice animation features. I am also interested in tricks to get quality and speedy renders for animations, regardless of GI render. jhv
