Electraglide
Thought you guys particularly might find some work I've been doing for a future version of LightUp kinda interesting. Its a tool that visualizes the total solar power on every surface in you model in a 24 hour period taking account of the sun position for the date etc. Anyway, its Let me know what you think. Ways to make it better etc. Adam Edited July 18, 2008 by Electraglide
Slinger
Looks great Adam. Is there a data analysis printout from it or is it strictly graphical analysis? It would be great if you picked a point somewhere on the model and it told you how much solar energy was on that given surface etc. BTW, if you need a beta tester, let me know
Electraglide
Looks great Adam. Is there a data analysis printout from it or is it strictly graphical analysis? All the data is calculated and then converted to false color for display purposes. Its not obvious how you would print out the data either - its got all the numbers of course, but I'm unclear how you 'print it'. How do other packages do it? It would be great if you picked a point somewhere on the model and it told you how much solar energy was on that given surface etc. BTW, if you need a beta tester, let me know Very easy to do. Any other suggestions let me know - and I'll let you know when it needs some beta testers too. Adam
