craigt
Newbie question I am trying to bring an autocad drawing into PS to scale. I have successfully achieved this, however the drawing is scaled to fit the paper size. Also can you bring in the drawing from the layout, rather than from the model space so it also includes drawing title block etc. Many thanks in advance
STRAT
just put the drawing title block into model space. if you have scale problems then put a scale line in.
Fernando Lino
-Use publish web JPG -setup the sheet(8"x11" with 300dpi) is 2400x3300 and plot scale use 300=1 -create a mview fit -select the scale and plotting in PS open the file and change image size( keep the same resolution and modify 300dpi That's it!!! kainoa
If you have the full version of Acrobat, you can "print" your drawing to a PDF file (from model or paper space). Then import into PS. Good luck!
schmoron13
aslo, if you have illustrator, you can simply open the file directly in illustrator and make changes there, and finally export it to photoshop
