lyca Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 Hy I'm just testing a new workstation 8 cores Intel Mac-Pro on rendering with Max 2009, Vray Sp2 on Xp64, the task manager shows 50 CPU usage ? and on rendering the image there is only 4 buckets, should it not be 8 buckets for 8 cores ? BOXXLABS Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 be sure that if you are using the Light Cache in VRAY to set your "passes" to the number of cores in your machine.
