nelpiper
I have a WD RAPTOR 36GB and a SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.9. My SATA SEAGATE is connected to sata 1 port and my WD RAPTOR is connect to the sata 2 port. When this is the case, the system boots fine and everything is nice and neat. When I invert the the hard drives, there is, the seagate on sata 2 and the raptor on sata 1 it says: BOOT FAYLURE, PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK. Does anyone have any ideas why this behaviour? Would it be something in the bios? Thanks.
AJLynn
The BIOS is trying to boot the wrong disk. The solution is: -Don't change which hard drive is plugged in where. Or: -When you change this, also change the boot disk setting in the BIOS.
