Jason Bergeron
I remember reading somewhere (I think it was on this forum but I am not sure) that it is possible on an 8 core system to set 6 cores for rendering and leave the other 2 for working on other programs. Is this possible? And if so, how would one go about doing this?
Tommy Burns
Open up task manager go to process and find max. Then right click on this and Set Affinity. Now just untick how many processors you don't want. Hope this is clear

Slinger
just remember for every program you have open/running, you will have to do this. It would be nice if someone could write some sort of script to automatically do this.
