Guest nazcaLine Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 i have a box. i want to apply a vray disp modifier to only one of the faces. i used a mesh select modifier, applied the vray disp mod and a uvw map (planar) but it applies the disp map to the whole box . what can i do? i don't want to detach that face, but maybe is it the only option??? please help...! bened Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Try using a multi-subobject material with two identical materials but only one with the displacement map activated. Be sure your map is black around the edges or the face will detach!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
