Ky Lane
Checked your UVW coordinates?
gfa2
it does look like double faces. maybe your lofted shape had a double spline in it and it actually made double faces without you knowing? try setting the secondary rays bias to 0.01 and see if that clears it up. Peter M. Gruhn
Weird Thing 2 may have a vertex weld failure at that inside corner. This might be consistent with some of what other people are saying. Go in and test move one vertex, make sure you don't have two. Do all the faces you'd think would move along with it do so or do some stay in place? Peter M. Gruhn
Oh yeah, on on WT2 I wonder about those very black up facing polys. Are they supposed to be that black? Do they exist? Are they facing the wrong way?
karolisbilz@yahoo.com
no that's the same anomaly as in 1st picture.....
jsf
In my experience Max doesn't turn corners well when using loft or sweep. Make single straight run loft segments then miter the pieces at the corners. This method may seem time consuming but so is spending all day looking for a workaround without success.
