Kawzy
Well hi David, I'm a new member to the community also. As such, my insights may not be as motivating as some veteran members might be able to supply, however I also had the dream to get started in the architectural visualization world, and luckily I've been able to take a few of the first steps, and I'm loving it all. The biggest thing I can say is simply to just stick with your dream. If you have a drive to become something else, then by all means do it. It can be rough sometimes depending on your financial situation and/or lifestyle in general. As with anything, getting proper training and education in a new area can be demanding based on pace you set for yourself. I was in a situation where I had to pay for all of my own schooling, so on top of being a full time student, I was also working full time. This left very little time for other things in my life, and it got depressing sometimes not always being able to do what I wanted because I was short on money or always busy with homework in my 'free time'. A lot of people can lose sight of their goals when they get discouraged, but for me, it was worth it to stick with it and be miserable at times because I honestly couldn't be happier with where I am now. The hard work and dedication can always pay off if you fight through it. Unfortunately I can't suggest any training in China, but the internet is always a useful tool if nobody can suggest such things. If you want to do it though, I say do a little more looking into it and make sure it's really what you want, then just go for it. Not every career is for every individual, but if it fits your passion like it fits mine, I know you'll be happy with your decison.

Kopeykin
Well, if you wanna vizualise, do it. Hours, days and months of testing and peactice. If you'll have a troubles or questions ask Kopeykin. He has a weakness to help everybody with max or vray. And you don't have to pay for cources or school programs. Also this community is very friendly. Today it's simly than ever. When Kopeykin started there were no schools, no tutorials, no books, no professianals, no 3d forums. There were just few 3d freaks. So welcome aboard. SandmanNinja
I recently took an 8-week ArchViz class from: http://workshops.cgsociety.org/ I found the classroom environment VERY good for learning. It helped me a great deal. Drop me a PM if you want some e-mail adresses. Next in line would be video tutorials - they show exactly what the instructor is doing as he is explaining it. www.mentalboutmax.com has some VERY affordable and VERY good video tutorials. The instructor is a member here and is very helpful. Ky is a natural genius - your milage may vary.
Kawzy
As with SandmanNinja, I also took some classroom courses which helped me. The somewhat one on one training where I could ask all the questions I wanted and be helped out in person and given explanations about 'why' not just 'how' really benefitted me a great deal and cleared up confusions probably faster than if I learned completely on my own. However, I also greatly agree with everyone else in that the largest portion of learning is just trial and error learning the program on your own. Much help is also found right here on the internet through tutorial after tutorial after tutorial, and just talking with others about problems or questions you have. I've only been on this forum for a couple of days and already find it extremely valuable. The people always seem highly helpful and just happy to talk about any issues you have because it benefits them as well as you. Just by reading back through past posts you can learn a lot. If you continue to search for a classroom environment, I would suggest getting your hands a little dirty experimenting with a 3d program in the meantime. You'll learn a great deal.
