SandmanNinja
I'm going to GUESS that it's some scripting on the homepage. I use Avast! and doesn't complain.
shaneis
Considering the recent "Sewing Machine" and "Hotel" somewhere in India threads, it wouldn't surprise me. Linux for surfing, anyone?
AJLynn
I helped a friend pull his computer out of Trojan hell recently. The crap on his computer has basically disabled all web browsing in Firefox and IE, making it impossible to get the software that would remove the malware or research how to remove it. The solution was to install Safari and use that for the searching and downloading. None of the crap had any effect on it at all
shaneis
Why not just back up all data and re-format? It's still the best way to dump the nasties and start afresh...assuming the nasties aren't embedded in the actual user data. Or there's always this... http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
Nic H
is it anything to do with that horrible cgarchitect frame that hangs around when you open one of the links from news items? iv been trying to get rid of that for ages. Is it meant ot do that? Or a browser issue on my end?

You can ignore it. Trust me our server is not infected as it's scanned by multiple scanners and I get reports twice a day of changes/additions to ANY file on our servers. I would know if anything is there that should not be.
AJLynn
The frame thing is normal - that's just some fairly basic HTML. You can click it away if it bugs you.
