david.jones
I'm working with an architect in my office who is exploring structures for a tower. Mainly looking at repeated shapes up 3 spiralling struts that taper together at the top. all linked with tensioned wires. My problem is, each time i duplicate my shapes along a twisting path, i cant seem to find a quick way to change their scale aswell, manually is time consuming and innacurate. any ideas? Tommy L
Yes, you can animate the scaling (just do your first and last scale) and use the snapshot tool. This will handle both the scaling and the duplication. You may have to play with the curves and bezier handles in the curve editor for the animated object to get them to appear in the correct places, bu its fairly straight forward.
