lucho
Thats a good question! Is it possible to add good reflections to glass and metals at PS?, if someone can show some examples to this question is welcome
monkhell
In render elements you have to add the reflection channel, then if you save it you can merge it in PS. From there you can use PS filters to enhance reflection, hue, etc etc, cheers
Horhe
Just render a seperate pass and use it as a mask in PS.
djoshi
Thanx.. Can I get some more detailed explanation..on how to do it..? Till date what I used to do is, that I render structure & then I select all Glass & reflective surfaces manually in PS & then I add some image in that to get refl. But selecting each glass is getting crazy..! So how can I do it by using reflection pass...& add some image in glass as reflection..
Kopeykin
You will find your reflection pass after rendering.
Tommy Burns
If you are using mentalray have a look at subset of scene you will find how to use it by putting a search in here. Its brilliant all you do is select the glass in the shader and when you render all you will have is the glass but also with all the reflections and all the glass that is supposed to be hidden is. You could have whatever reflection you want on the glass. Another way is apply a material overide "none" this will give you your model rendered in different coulors depending on your layer set up. Once you render out this you can bring it into PS and because its only colours it will be easy to select the glass in PS. I prefer Sub of scene though because you get through reflections. Hope this all helps
