Ryan there is ALWAYS a market for TOP QUALITY models. You can go ahead and ask 100 more questions of is there is a market for this or that, but it all comes down to quality. If its there, the market for it is there aswell.

Besides, if smth is easily done by you, no harm in doing it :)

Well, I just got married on the 12th, so production has just started on it. I gathered 5 of my friends and took reference photos in t-poses and have begun modeling my 1st one. I've got a half-finished basemesh for ZBrush usage...I want to finish the basemesh by the time my honeymoon starts on the 30th.

I've been reading up on how to achieve realism in 3d people...there's a few 3d world mags that go over it. This is definitely going to be a learning experience.

So there ya have it. I expect to be able to devote a lot more time on it after the honeymoon when our apt is decorated, painted, and life returns to normal.

Hey all -

Just updating you wall that the 1st model is still being developed. It's quite the learning process and unfortunately is going a bit slower than I'd hoped. I still plan to roll one of these out for preview in the next month or so. Once these growing pains are finished, I anticipate turnaround to be much quicker.

As for me, part of the production slowdown has been the new job at Erdman (and wifey wanted a new boxer puppy...sheesh)...as it's pretty busy in marketing and lots of covers, inserts, proposals, and powerpoint presentations are needed...also learning CMS in Drupal. Fun stuff. I miss devoting much of my time to 3D and being on these boards a lot. And while I'm learning zbrush at the moment, haven't cracked open VRay in awhile.

Anyways, I will definitely keep you guys posted. I'll show something once I get to a decent output level.

I am looking after some nice 3D people to polulate my archViz scenes. I have got nearly all the Axyz-design collections. These models are good enought for "far away in the background" but they are innacceptable for foreground!

The axyz HD model (in the link you gave) is not good at all for foreground, far too much UNrealistic!

In the same way, I would like to have some REALISTIC animated 3d peoples, all I see on the web market is far too much UNREALISTIC / ROBOTIC as well.
