Claudio Branch
i try to make rendering look realistic but why my friends told me it's look like scanline, or i photoshop the render. pls help. Just getting yourself some NEW friends will help alot... The scene looks like it is very well lit, but certain objects don't appear to be casting shadows or reflected onto their respective surfaces. If you are going with Mental Ray, then you need to get some Raytracing on-line in the Reflectivity slot. BTW, tell your "friends" that there is nothing wrong with using Scanline either... mentalist
Are you using ArchDesign shaders? Looks like standard materials.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Additionally to the comments already made.. For the type of lighting being depicted in the room, the ceiling is bright. I might venture to guess that it is lit with a series of omni's. Try switching to a directional cone, or better yet, a IES for ceiling light to get a more natural distribution of light in the space.
