whitetr
We do a LOT of highways and bridges. We love to loft:) If you have a good centerline, then you can loft shapes (Road surfaces, barriers, car paths, striping, etc) from there to fit every highway/bridge need. Claudio Branch
Does anybody know where to find tutorials on highway and bridge modeling, preferently in autocad or 3d max. Thanks Here is another thread where I discuss a little about what I do: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/31584-modelling-terrained-roads.html Also, be sure to take a look at the work on the PB link provided at the bottom of Tracey White's post. Their work is TOP NOTCH whether it be architecture or transportation. Their forum also has alot of information if you want to learn how to tackle roads and bridges with ease.
