jackb602
I am working on an architectural rendering job and I need a chandelier modeled urgently. Ideally, I would like to have it late tonight (Thursday) although I realize that's an incredibly tight schedule. This is a paying job. I only need the geometry. I work in Cinema 4D, but I can easily import OBJ, DXF, and other formats. The chandelier is pictured below. It is 30" in diameter and 36" tall, and it has 10 arms. If anyone is available to work on this on such short notice, please email me at: jackb602 AT gmail DOT com Or call me at (773) 818-1784. Thanks, Jack
SandmanNinja
Wow... Well, once you get ONE ARM done, just circle array it. Guessing a spline for the arm, with boxes as the glass.
jackb602
I don't suppose you're available?
SandmanNinja
I would enjoy the modelling challenge, and would have PM'd you if I didn't have 12 renders queued up. You can PROBABLY find some chandlier models on turbo squid. It's so funny - I returned some videos yesterday and there is a Chandlier shop opening up next door! Good luck, mate. jackb602
You know, I thought a Turbosquid chandelier would be fine, but alas not for this client. I did get a response though, and someone is working on it for me now. Thanks, Jack p.s. damn, 12 renderings! I guess I shouldn't complain. Are you a one man operation, or do you have help? SandmanNinja
Well, it's not for pay - working on my portfolio and am using pretty high settings (gotta make 'em look great, eh?)
