Hi, i was wondering if there is a way to render only the reflections channel, without rendering the whole scene, just render the reflections.

what render engine are you using? If vray there is a Vray_RawReflection element under the render elements tab, otherwise I'm not too sure without checking other engines

I'm using V-Ray. Is there a way to get the reflections channel without rendering the whole scene, I mean, without rendering the scene completely as i normally do pressing F9, just render the reflections channel only.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to render your whole frame so vray has a chance to calculate the reflections to output them, so i don't think there is a way to shortcut that.

I don't believe there is a way to render the reflections without render a "beauty pass" as well. But what you can do is turn your GI down and perhaps a couple of other things that don't have a huge impact on reflections. Depending on your scene though that might not be too much.

Yes, that's what I did. It takes much less time to render without GI, and still get a nice reflection layer output. Thank u all. Regards.
