Inxa
Hello, I am working on this interior. Using 3ds max and vray I am issue is even with high parameters the renders gets noise in it. If you look closely on the left side wall, ceiling you will notice the noise. All vray light have high subdivisions. around 12 each. Metal material also has high subdivs. My lc - 1000 and irmap is high / custom with high parameters. Can any one help me. Thanks in advance. Hao La
Does your Vray light put out side the window? make sure they are not blocked by the wall. And also, what is your DMC Sampler setting?
Inxa
Hello, Ah great to get a reply from you. Alright. Here we go. I have placed all the windows outside. No blocks for sure. Also, the dmc in the image sampler is default. I tried working with high values but then the render become tooo slow plus the difference isn't very much. irmap settings - high / custom with high settings. lc - 1500 - 2000 sampler size .01 vray dmc sampler - adaptive amount : .85, noise threshold : 0.005, min samples - 10, global sub divs : 2. I am still working on to get rid of the noise. What do you suggest.
Kopeykin
I think this because of antialiasing. Are you using adaptive subdivision? Play with thresholds. Or try decrease Adaptive amount in QMC Sampler and AA - Fixed with 4 subdivs.
Inxa
Hey, With high image sampler parameters for adaptive dmc I have managed to get rid of the noise. Thanks for replying hao la and kopeykin.
xulinlianggj
I think vraylight's subdivs 20 or 30 or

Hao La
I think vraylight's subdivs 20 or 30 or 50 those numbers are way to high. In my experience, Vray's light subdivs at 15 will give you a good image without noise from the lights
