northern monkey
Hi there Am having a couple of problems following the install of both AutoCAD and Inventor (although its CAD I really need). The install goes fine but after this the program just wont initialise, I get the splash screen but thats it. On top of that my copy of 3DS max 9 refuses to load once I’ve installed the other autodesk products, it doesnt even get as far as the splash screen!! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Chris

aleksandarkazi
I know this is old, but for those who are not able to install 3ds max 2009 ( or earlier editions ) - You will have to uninstall ACAD/ACA 2010, install Max, activate... and install ACAD back again. Max should be working fine, as the problem is getting to the activation screen. ( It took me ome complete XP reinstall to figure this one out, as I usually install ACAD first )
Crazy Homeless Guy
When Max doesn't launch, the first thing I do is delete the 3dsMax.ini file.
