chow choppe
Hi all I am working on a cad drawing in which the client have followed a system of managing layers which i am not aware of In model space i see the drawing as every layer is on they have made the floor plans one over the other and every layer is on. In layouts i just see what is required like Main floor plan , upper floor plan, elevations with only specific layers on i tried seeing the layer state manager but it doesnt have any of the states in which the specific layers are on like i am seeing in layout Vports One way to see the drawings properly in model space is that in the layouts i use the VPlayer command and note down the layers that are off in order to see just the required floor plan and then i go back to model space and turn them off or i am sure there is a btter and quick way to do it in ACAD 2007 that i am using. I am sure there is a way to do this but i am not aware of that so kindly help me out with this Thanks
Peter M. Gruhn
I think the "freeze in viewport" column is over to the right past color, linetype etc. Scroll the window over that way and look for likely columns. They may have also added Layer States (is that the name?) or Filters to make handling these a little easier.
