I would just like to thank Brian and Jeff for the excellent Vray Training they hosted in London and also the other training classes they hosted. I had no prior knowledge or use of Vray and I am now confident after having been to this training that I have a very good understanding and grasp of Vray.

If Brian does do another round of training I highly recommend people go, it is well worth the time and money!!

Once again thank you Brian and Jeff for all the hard work you put into these training classes, they will help me greatly.

Saw the talk at DMVC last year,

He does a solid talk thats for sure, I'd also reccomend him. (and i've been a vray user since the beginning.) I may not always agree with some of his conclusions on DMC (heheh.), but he has a good concise explanation of the technical bits of Vray and its system, and a good teaching delivery.

we recorded the sessions and are providing to those that attended, by way of DRM protected streaming video...we won't ever release by DVD because sadly that would be just like giving it away.

i noticed you are from Lebanon...i dont know if it will interest you but based on inquiries we've received in the last few months, it is highly probable that we will be doing the same thing in Dubai at the end of the year.

Dear Brian i can see the point of not releasing a Dvd (they get copied and released on the net ...)

my problem is that visualisation started as a hobie for me and now it's a side job not my main job.traveling is almost out of the question (although Dubai is not tha far) i can't travel right now esp with a newborn baby daugter.

maybe a book only on Vray is a good idea and i think many like me would be intrested (although maybe it's a problem of copyrights or a deal with chaos ? i wouldn't know)

finally if that training in Ubai took of i would appreciate it if u let me know maybe by then it woul be possiblethan u very much

ps: ur advise on AA is doing wonders in my new renders (maybe small wonders :)) as seen in my last posts

god bless u

Hi Fadi,

I know what you mean as I am currently looking for work so was debating whether to go or not. I took the plunge as I think trying to learn it from a book would have been hard for me and I much prefered having a professional in the software to learn from and ask lots of questions of!!

I belive if you go to the 3DAT website they have a book for sale which is for Intermediate-Advanced users and this contains a lot of the Vray information given in the talk.

I am also going to get the Beginner-intermediate as I need to start getting into animation. Also have you looked at Christopher Nicols DVDs on Interior and exterior Vray setups?

Hello kelly

ur wright a teacher is better than a book.much more interactive but sometimes we have no choice i hope by the time they wiil be in Dubai i'd have enough mone to get there (fingers crossed)

as for Brians books the second one is on my list of books to get and i have no doubt i will find it usefull.

as for Chris i have both the Dvds and they are great but i was looking for something more advanced and focused (materials different lighting approach and compositing)

thanks once again

I guess my dream is coming true,,coz if its going to be in Dubai then i can definitely come...i always wished to attend a vray training given by professionals,I live in Syria but i work as a free lancer for many companies in Dubai so i go there every month....i never had a training about vray, coz in Syria its rare to find a course about vray so me and my friends try to stay updated about vray by the net........so i would be really thankful if u can send me the details about this training in Dubai..thank u Brain for the useful training..am really looking forward to it.
