schmoron13
I've been having this problem for a while now, and can't seem to get it right . Whenever I create an object (usually a rect), and then modify -move some of the vertices, I lose the ability to apply a texture. If I mess around with it, I might be able to get the unaltered face correctly, but the other sides end up with just vertial lines. Included are a couple of shapes (all done with a simple rectangle having some vertices moved in various shapes)...this problem is killing me, so if anyone has any ideas... Thanks in advance, Doron Serban Computer Graphics CUREE
John Dollus
Make sure your UVW Mapping modifier is at the top of your modifier stack. You do have a UVW modifier, right...?
schmoron13
Thank you John for your quick response, I applied the uvw modifier (as a box) followed by rotating the front/rear faces 90degrees with the unwrap uvw and it fixed the problem.
