Archicad -> AutoCAD - Lineweights don't work

Lineweights don't work when opening an ArchiCAD 8.0 dwg with Autocad 2007 no matter what lineweight I chose lines don't change. Is there a way to fix this?

 

edit: I managed to fix it. All I had to do is do EXPLODE before assigning lineweights to the archiCAD lines.

Yes, in deed try to explode all the lines and grouped elements when you export tu autoCAD, another suggestion ,try to use most recently archicad versions as 10 or 11, those versions enhace and make easier the export process to AutoCAD
