nisus
Hi all, I was just wondering: if the daylightsystem uses the correct sun position on a given time/day, does the skylight uses a correct moonlight base as well? Like more light on a full moon? Never read anything about it yet... rgds nisus
abicalho
No, daylight system does not produce Moonlight simulations. Alexander
ingo
Yes it does. But most daylight calculation implemetations are only based on the position and intensity of the sun and moon, but not on the position of the earth in between, thats what it needs to get the moon phases. mzagorski
Maybe you can create a daylight system, but flip it 180 degrees...
nisus
hi all, abicalho: no moonlight system... *damn* way back in max2.5, 4E (four elements) had a mooncyclus built-in... still wondering why the plugin don't exist anymore (damn corel!) ingo: does lightwave has a moonsimulation? mike: not really... the distance from earth to sun or moon is quite different, the time needed to make one round too... (365.25days vs 28days) rgds nisus
ingo
sorry no nisus. It is always full moon at Lightwave nights.
