stephen gilbert
Free 3D collage courses in U.K hi i'm currently teaching at broxtowe collage in nottingham U.K where i teach the 15 week "intro course" [one day per week or 2 evenings per week] on 3d rendering and animation which can then lead on to the 38 week advanced course. If you want to find out more details on this free course where we use 3dsmax,character studio and combustion to make your learning of 3d a little less painless and also meet some people in the same boat give the collage a call on this number: 0115 847 3212....talk to kach [cash] and quote steve gilbert as your contact. the course has pdf handouts on each lesson from week 1-5 then we move on to cd/tape based handouts where you can simply watch and learn at home what you went through at collage that day/night to make sure you understand what was taugh that in the class...a great way to learn! seeing as you can go through the work at your own pace at home with the demo discs we can provide..max,viz,plasma,gmax,lightwave,maya and combustion.... :gebigeek: :gebigeek: :gebigeek: good luck! steve gilbert www.cresshead.com info@cresshead.com e n d o f l i n e
mzagorski
Stephen... Sounds quite interesting.. shame im stuck up in Scotland and not able to attend. Are you going to be posting any of the PDF files on CGA? Any example renders by the person who created the courseware? Cheers
stephen gilbert
well, i'm actually working on converting all of the 15 week course to cd/tape based video for sale from my website [http://www.cresshead.com] as well as making the first 5 weeks pdf's available for free quite soon...i just need some more webspace to host the pdf's as they are around 1-4 mb per pdf file and there's 2 pdf's for week 4 for example....as soon as i have a completed 15 week course on cd/tape i'll make it available and put up some demo avi's and whatever on my site. my quest it to provide a similar thing to 3d buzz.com but also have project based tutorials where you'll learn a raft of techniques that you can then apply to your own projects. steve g www.cresshead.com
