sandiarch
Hi friends i am working on exterior.. 3dsmax+vray+photoshop i always experience exterior rendering little difficult than interiors in terms of livelyness and quality. please guide me to make this exterior photorealistic or live. Thanks in advance.
Guest FlaviusC
I believe you have a lack of contrast here, and no highlights...I mean,it's noon or afternoon, right? The sun has a immense radiant power and the image should have some "burn" areas, especially because the building is white, and it would reflect much more light towards the camera.Your greens look a bit pale imo...And the sky seems low res(and low jgeg quality). The windows don't seem to reflect anything. Also, the pavement looks very uniform, with no signs of wear at all,and there are no asphalt marks (parking area etc). The rpc people don't have shadows... + an ambient occlusion might help you...
sandiarch
Thanks FlaviusC...for your feedback..i will work on that. friends i request more feedback...that would help me to improve my exterior renderings thanks in advance
mattclinch
the ambient light in your scene has no colour to it, but your sky is bright blue. more blue in the shadows...
sandiarch
i am sorry..i am little confused...do you mean..i have blue sky so i need some BLUE in environment or at my shadows?
mattclinch
by having a bluer environment, you will have bluer ambient light, and therefore your shadows will be bluer.
mare96
forget colours, details and stuff try to work and play with light=vray sun /sky, occlusion...etc just black and white...is your first step to reality... bye
sandiarch
thanks mare... actually i haven't used vray sun...i have used direct light only... please let me know if it is really good to use vray sun outside. thanks.
ankit4d
You can use Blue color in Environment color override for making skylight.
demonpaper
for me it's okey to use direct light... in my opinion it' luck of mappings... issues... kindly use high res. of image back ground... or try hdr as back ground.. and try to experiment on different materials suited in your scene... your using rpc? its okey... but to make it more live i think u should use a 3dmodels... good luck...
