i dont know but if you really want something to work on it shouldnt be hard to think of things ;p

1) modeling - chamfer hard edges, add trim details

2) materials - turn on some more reflections - try out some bump maps, reflection maps

3) lighting - it looks like all the light in the room is supposed to be coming through that window, but the light hitting the floor does not look very intense. i would make sure the room is really closed and work on one light source at a time

I think the design of the railing needs to be changed, it looks rustic, not compatible with the modern feel of the room, also the stairs need more thickness, maybe around 5-7 cm. This are the thing that bother me with this image, as for the render itself, I think Dave said all there is.

keep up the good work

Hi again :):

Thx guys for your comments and critics.

dave and jad:Your right. I'm going to add more details and work on the lights and materials (probably working on shaders)

andstef:yeah, I don't like that railing neither hehe, but I'm still looking for a nice one.

tommy:

I don't think I would like to be climbing those stairs after a few scoops

Me neither :D

I'll work on it.

Regards
