Vince Paske
I recently received a wind turbine model from an engineer which is in IGES format. When I import the file into max, it looks like it is working and finishes without any errors, but nothing is in the scene. Has anyone else had this problem and came up with a solution? Dave Buchhofer
I tend to try Rhino first truthfully, it has saved me from bad engineering models on several occasions. they have a free download trial with 25 saves/exports.

Vince Paske
Rhino is not an option I have at my disposal.
Claudio Branch
Has anyone else had this problem and came up with a solution? Yes. Have them export it out as an stl file and really crank up the export quality settings. The stl file will make a butt-ugly wireframe, but it will render fine.
