ronll Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Wow. While researching something for another thread, I came across the name of Marion Mahoney Griffin. Seems she was a renderer working for Frank Lloyd Wright and in fact many of the renderings I always thought were Wright's, were in fact hers. She is also listed as the world's first licensed architect. Did I just miss this in my studies or did I just forget it? Or did we really suppress the accomplishments of women that much? jackb602 Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 There was a beautiful exhibition of her work at the Block Museum of Art in Evanston IL a couple of years ago.
