Modo/Photoshop

I thought I'd try something a little less photorealistic with a more traditional illustration look. Modeled in SketchUp, rendered in Modo, trees grass, people and overly-dramatic sky in Photoshop.

Looking forward to getting Piranesi in the workflow for entourage. The new epix export from Modo seems to work well with just a few minor irritations.

Yes I would agree, nice on the lighting. Reminds me of that dark side light side you get ust before the storm. Very Matte-ainter-esque (if that's a word, HA!) Lot's more details in the foreground would be great. and it'd be nice to check out a higher res too :)

I'm really diggin' adding the character to images in photoshop lately too! It'd be great to see what you started with and then what you added in photoshop...

Nice work. I really like the composition and lighting. Very clean with a limited pallete...

The dead grass in the foreground doesn't really make sense with the rest of the foliage in the scene though. Tall green field grass anyone?

The pavement surface also appears to have too much green hue on it as well.

Thanks folks,

Yea, I might move it over to the other forum.

Alias_marks,

I guess I would have to provide and outside link for a higher res?

Claudio,

I agree about the pavement color. The building is across from what will be a restored prairie area so I was leaving that kind of wild without getting too messy.

Thanks.
