demo38
I have a Daylight system, animating from morning to night. (Using Logarithmic Exposure Control with Exterior Daylight checked.) Radiosity, initial quality 85%, 2 Iterations, Global Sub mesh enabled at 20'. ??? When the sun is low, some surfaces seem to break down into glowing blue lava? Cool, but undesired right now. When the sun is higher, no breakdown at all... Any thoughts on the best way to adjust for this? I'm sure it's something I'm doing, I'm just not sure what yet? abicalho
Can you upload a zipped MAX file somewhere? Alexander
demo38
Here is a sample Max file, still having the same problem. Mesh size doesn't seem to fix the problem, neither on the iterations... The radiosity solution has been calculated in this file, at 7am, which breaks down. sunStudy.max Anyone have an idea of what is causing this? I'm trying to use Max 5.1's built in radiosity using a Daylight system and IES Sun. This image is 7AM... Blue breakdown areas... This image is 1PM... Renders just fine... Thanks in advance. abicalho
Your Spot with a negative Multiplier is what's causing the problem. Turn the spot off and it'll solve the problem. Alexander
