WAcky Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I find the one thing that makes your paint shaders really look good is to make sure theyre reflecting something. Your paint actually looks good, just chuck an HDR in the environment, play around with the paint shader's reflectivity and it will start to come alive. mfured20 Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 i dont know maya well, but there must be a way to have a color falloff in the diffuse slot. just doing that, with two slightly different colors, and add some reflections, should do wonders for car paint.
