Jonathan Sanchez
Hi all. Its been a while since I've had a rendering job..got 5 houses tho this month. I've missed doing this so much, and i've missed you guys. Anyways the houses are all in a small little stretch of land off the florida Keyes. This is the first of 5 renderings and I've just begun adding landscaping, still need more landscaping, background and ppl, but I thought I would post here and hear your thoughts so far. Thanks all
ankit4d
I feel the water has unrealistic noise.
skala67
I think you are having some scale issues with your plants and water.
Tommy L
Not having a horizon is killing this image.
Jonathan Sanchez
Thanks guys yes the water is really not realistic. Skala 67, r u saying that the ripples in the water are too big or too small?
Horhe
Yep Toms right, needs horizon definetally, will bring the image more to life. The wood is tiling, you could work on the material. Shrubs near water look nice.
Jonathan Sanchez
Okay guys I agree I need to work on the water.. so I tweaked it a bit, what do you guys think of the ocean water on this version?
skala67
yeah the ripples were looking too big, but i am liking the direction you went with it. looking much better. Sorry i didnt have time earlier to expand on the scale thing. Something about the plants is off. I cant tell if its cuz the leaves are too big and maybe those branches showing through are a little thick. The chairs in the foreground offer us the correct scale and to me (just one persons eyes) show the plant scale is too big. Were they 3d plants that you scaled up? and again i could be totally off. Great job i like the project. Cant wait to see the progress. cheers,

murtazasimari
The wood look unnatural please smooth the edges of the way. Its very sharp & water is now better & give some depth to the view its looking flat.
Jonathan Sanchez
Okay, I've added a temporary horizon to the image.. i've rerenderd water and resized chairs on dock, tweaked pool water. I will be working on dock wood next and adding more landscaping.. i want to add some ppl to this shot, in particular the client wants some kind of woman sitting/relaxing in that dock by the chairs looking towards the ocean. I've been trying to find good images online where i can crop a woman like this from but I havent been able to find any. I have the rpc collection of resort ppl from archvision but I couldnt find any suitable rpcs for this. Do you guys have any idea where i can find an image of a woman, good looking, in bikini or tropical / casual wear, in a good position looking into the ocean? Thanks all again Edited September 2, 2008 by sancheuz Add attachment
skala67
I have a few 3d people lounging in swimwear. email me your addy and i will send them to you. cheers,
mfured20
much better with the horizon line, added a lot. will there be any trees in the foreground? putting some shade / shadows across that grass will break it up a little bit, accenting any topography hidden there. Justin Hunt
coming along, please ignore me if you have nothing to do with the design, but that is one ugly house design. Tiny windows looking out onto the water, what a missed oportunity there. just sad really. once again please ignore my comments jhv
