Tommy L
How will you rate my rendering skill? How much does my render worth? Can't be that much..S$2000?! ? There are many aspects to creating a rendering for a client that are not apparent when you are doing 'practice' work. The client can and will be difficult. You have to include communication, client visits, ammendments and design changes. You are doing this for somebody as a service, this is because the person you are doing it for has neither the skills, equipment, inclination, time or resources to do it for themselves. You are not doing them a favour. They are not doing you a favour. The reason they are commisioning a rendering is because that rendering will make them money. Why should you not be handsomely rewarded for doing your job and providing this person with a service? How long will it take? What are your overheads per day? How much do you think your time is worth per hour? Your work isnt great, but its not bad either. if you get hired on the strength of your work, they know what they are buying. The client demanding stuff will drive your skillset forward also. So go ahead, figure what you're worth and stick to it. Good luck!
