Stop materials automatically tiling?

Hello,

 

How do you prevent textures in a fryrender materials from tiling across a surface since it seems the tiling option cannot be switched off. Bitmaps seem to automatically repeat. I just want to appeal a texture to the center of an object, much like a decal.

Ok, thanks for the answer. Seems like it would be a fairly basic and obvious requirement! But its cool, if its not there than its not there :)

 

Aware of any workarounds? I came up with adding more background colour around the texture so the tiling couldnt be seen when applied to the object.
