Dave Oliver
i know people are always hating on vista but my computer friends tell me that vista 64x is the way to go for quadcore chips. evidently windows xp was not made with that many cores in mind. maybe im wrong but thats what iv been told. i have been using it with quadcore chips and 4GB ram and had no problem. it does not seem to consume too many resources as some people say. also the unlimited ram thing lets you have a lot of proxies and displacement in your scene and easily allocate 2GB for dynamic memory. well max does occasionally crash but its probably my fault. SandmanNinja
I disagree with your friend - XP64 was designed for servers and uses mutliple cores just fine.
