They are re-running the ArchViz class I took earlier this year.

It's a pretty good class and you'll pick up a lot of ArchViz techniques in here.

When I took it, the instructor would prepare a series fo 10-15 minute long video files (.AVI) that you would view online. He also prepared some PDF and 3ds files that went with the course material.

Each week had a theme - i.e. Importing CAD files, etc etc, and the classmates suggested 3 themes/topics for the last week and then we voted on it.

New assignments are given out on Mondays and you have until Sunday night at midnight local time to post your renders.

The guy really knows AutoCAD (he's written course material for AutoDesk).

While the video files streamed, numerous members of the class voiced instructions on how to save the streamed files. ;)

You can't be "failed" as it's a non-credit course that you pay $$$ for.

Having said that, you only get out of it what you put into it.

I put an hour or two week nights and all day (8-10 hours) saturday and sunday.

In my class of 35 students, we had about 10 people that were VERY active (I was one) and the ones that knew the subject-of-the-week helped those that were weak in that particular area.

It was a good experience and I still keep in touch with some of the students.
