Andy Park
Hi, I'm just playing around with some NPR styles. It is such a shame that many of my clients don't want these kind of images cause I really like them. They all want the "photoreal" (except the dirt, drains, worn paths/roads, you know, everything that makes it photoreal ). Does anyone else have the same issues. C&C always welcome. anindia
dear Andrew, very nice style. there are really not much to comment on such N.P.R. styles - it's totally artist's taste how he will present his creations. i personally feel it has a little lack of contrast.difference between shadow zone and light zones should be more. i love the camera angle. Good job.
STRAT
in our part of town we usually find the client is generally still after the traditional 'photo-real' image. you can try to convince or 'educate' him differently, but ultimately you do what he asks for. we've rendered the 'client' image off and our own tweaked versions at the same time to suit our own marketing needs. Andy Park
Strat, I'll propose that to the architect next time. I never get to meet clients
Dave Oliver
im not sure about how far that wash is coming across the image. a large, round, soft eraser going uniformly around the perimeter might be less distracting

They all want the "photoreal" (except the dirt, drains, worn paths/roads, you know, everything that makes it photoreal ). that seems to be the case everywhere. they all want stuff to look a little too perfect. i wish i could stylize more of my works too. Horhe
Strat, I'll propose that to the architect next time. I never get to meet clients The architect is your client, and the person wanting the design is the architects client
