Crazy Homeless Guy
A question for someone who has advanced experience with MR. ...or more to the point, someone who has experience with both Vray and MR. In Vray, I could use Reinhard color mapping to limit the exposure of super bright areas while opening up the camera lens to allow more light in. It was great for interior renderings because I could open up the camera so nothing was dark, while keeping the bright areas around the window from blowing out. So, has anyone found a camera shader that will do this with MR?
mattclinch
mr photographic exposure and tweaking the highlight point from 0.2 to something like 0.1 or 0.05 should stop areas blowing out.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Thanks for the tip. I will try it out soon, I moved onto another area of the building, and haven't got back to this spot yet.
