Neil Woodhouse
Greetings, Need some advice or a how to. I'm currently finishing a project on behalf of a marketing company that involves a very simple bouncing ball animation. However they have changed the spec on the brief which is leaving me somewhat perplexed. Brief. Red bouncing ball. New brief. Same Ball BUT....at the end of the sequence they want a 'smiley' face to appear. Issue: The ball is set to red in the diffuse slot. The client has sent me a tranparent .gif of the 'smile'. I should also add that the ball has no UVW mapping set. 1. When i apply the .gif the ball turns white ( no good ) How do i get round this? 2. They want the smile to appear on the ball for the last 30 frames. Can material maps or gifs have visibilty tracks applied to them? RobNJ73
Can't you bring the .GIF into Photoshop and save it out as .TIF with an alpha channel?
