chow choppe Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 Hi USING 3dsmax and PHOTSHOP i am trying to render a flooring pattern i think i shud make a tileable texture in photoshop and then tile it but i am not able to figure out where shud the seam be. problem is that if i make use tile as the rectangular area (see image below) then i face tiling problem in areas marked with red arrows. Crazy Homeless Guy Posted September 22, 2008 Share Posted September 22, 2008 I would say go larger. Youn need a handful of tiles to make sure you don't see the repeating pattern in the wod grain.
