Brolloks
We have a storeroom full of old software boxes. Autocad 13,14, 2000, 2004ADT etc. What do you do with them? Destroy it? I assume you can't sell the dongled versions again or can you? Can you give it away? I need the storeroom space...
SandmanNinja
I was into Lightwave YEARS ago (10+) and I sold my license/software/dongle with no worries. The buyer and myself checked with lightwave creators and they were cool with it. I don't really know about AutoDesk tho. In theory, the dongle protects the intelectual property. If nothing else, donate it to a school for both a tax break and to help the school/students out.
Chad Warner
You can't (as of now) sell your old copies of Autodesk Products.
Brolloks
Thanks for the replies. I checked with my local supplier as well and they normally take the dongles back and give them to Autodesk when they have a box full. I've given the manuals of the old versions to staff who wanted a copy.
