keno2k6
Hi Guys, Im new to this forum and fairly new to Vray. I was reading somewhere that the Catmul-Rom filter is best for architectural visualisations but in my experience sometimes this filter can produce some 'blockiness' along edges which arent perfectly horizontal or vertical, although this could be due to some other setting such as my render size...Which filter do you prefer to use and why? Im trying to find one which produces consistently sharp and crisp edges without crippling my render times, after all we all have deadlines to meet!, and what setting would you recommend??? REDVERTEX
What do you use? Adaptive subdivision or DMC/QMC ? You can try Catmul Rom + ASub 1/4 (much slower) or DMC 2/
